Apologies for not putting up a Sunday Song! I got caught up with a meeting and last-minuted-oh-no-school-starts-again-tomorrow-ness.

Anyways, I realized that I somehow have to save up a lot of money before I go to Manchester which is… going to be rather difficult considering this is a style blog. As much as I love a good deal and re-purposing different pieces, good deals add up and even the challenge of recycling pieces can get boring so I am going to have to be very careful with my money. I work part-time retail and teach some piano but during the summer I definitely need to find a good job to save up a good chunk before I’m off to England!

This reading break hasn’t been as productive as I would have liked but oh well, what can you do. I called this post ‘Last Night’s Party’ because some of the articles are very party-like but I kind of toned it down for a more day-appropriate look.

Striped sweater from Jacob, faux fur vest and print shorts from H&M, necklace is my sister’s, shoes are ASOS, sparkly clutch is from Aldo, purple tights are from Daiso, belt is my dad’s old Christian Dior from 30 years ago.

It was such a gorgeous day! I was helping my boyfriend with his film project today at these railroad tracks so we took some photos for the blog too. Despite the sun, it was still a little chilly so I decided to finally debut this jacket that I’ve had since October. I really needed a new winter coat and I’m still in love. My favourite part?

It spins! Oh, this coat has such lovely movement and I get so many compliments on it; one of my best purchases to date.

Dress is Wilfred, coat is ASOS, tights from Daiso, booties and clutch from Aldo, floppy hat from H&M, leather gloves from Club Monaco

Finally… it looks like I’ll be blogging from England this time next year because I just got accepted to the University of Manchester!!!!! Here’s to more sunshine!

Finally, a new post! Also… I know it’s a terrible pun. Regardless, I amĀ  so in love with this new tribal necklace I bought, I’ve been looking for one like this for awhile. I am a big proponent of Joe Fresh and these desert booties are evidence that they’re doing great things. My only complaint is that I wish their sizes were smaller! Their bottoms are often always too big even at their smallest which can be really frustrating. But I digress, these booties are so comfortable, affordable, and stylish!

These photos were taken underneath and around my library since it was raining. They were also taken by my friend Henry on super short notice — thanks Henry!!

I’m finally on my reading week!!!!!! I’m breathing a big sigh of relief because I’ve been feeling really drained and lethargic lately. It’s also been hard to blog because of the bad weather, but I’m determined to make up for the lack of posts this week… along with sleep, and a ton of readings.

Necklace and cardigan (Cotton + Candy) bought off Nasty Gal, tank top from Urban Outfitters, denim shorts from Uniqlo that used to be jeans, shoes from Joe Fresh, purse is Rebecca Minkoff
